Changing the lighting panel backup batteries

There are seven lighting panels scattered throughout the plant, two of which are in the front offices, one on the first floor and the other on the second floor.

The battery is a coin-cell CR2032 3V Lithium.

Each lighting panel will have a placard that says “LP-” something.

When you open the panel door, there will be a little hatch you can open to access the circuit board with the coin-cell battery. In the front offices, the hatch is located at the top of the panel. Out in the plant, the hatches are on the lower side of the panel.

Inside the hatch, you will have to look around for the coin-cell. Being careful not to short out the board, or drop the battery inside the panel.

In the warehouse, on the wall opposite the lighting panel next to shipping, behind the racks.

When you have changed the batteries out, dispose of the old ones in the used lithium batteries container on the cart next to the outside opening roll-up door in the maintenance shop.
