You need to navigate to the following screen to see the three decimal place readout of the prescorer encoder position.
When you replace the encoder, you need to ensure the dipswitches are set to the above positions.
The encoder on the prescore section of our 924 is reading negative regardless of position. It reads between -0.471 and -0.432
The problem is that the encoder count is so far out of range that it will not display on the HMI. You must, by hand, turn the encoder numerous revolutions until the encoder count gets back in range. You'll need a couple of people to relay the status from the screen while one person is off in the hole turning the encoder by hand.
As of writing this, nobody know what the maximum and minimum numbers are supposed to be. We are fairly sure that the encoder is calibrated correctly but we're not sure.
